Carl Falstrom represents businesses, companies, organizations, and other institutions exclusively in U.S. immigration matters. He also counsels individual businesspeople, including investors and entrepreneurs; scientists; artists; scholars; religious workers; professionals; and other immigrants and their families. The wide range of cases that he handles includes temporary visas such as H, L, TN (NAFTA), O, E, and B; immigrant (“green card”) petitions and adjustment of status applications; and U.S. citizenship and naturalization cases.
Carl has occupied a number of high-level leadership positions within the American Immigration Lawyers Association, including service as Chair of the association’s Northern California chapter and hence as a member of the association’s national Board of Governors, and has been chosen to formally liaise in various capacities on behalf of the association and its members with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. He has also served as Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at both the Golden Gate University and University of San Francisco Schools of Law.
Carl received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is admitted to practice in California.
